At 41 Sugar Lane, we take food allergies and intolerances very seriously.
As a small baking business, we do everything we reasonably can to provide clear allergen information and minimise the risk of cross-contamination when preparing your order.
Our kitchen & allergens
The ingredients we use in our baking may include a number of allergens, depending on the product.
The allergens we commonly work with include, but are not limited to, gluten, eggs, milk, soya, nuts, peanuts and sesame.
Other allergens may be present in ingredients we purchase or may be handled within the wider kitchen environment.
Although we have procedures in place to minimise the risk of cross-contamination, our kitchen is not an allergen-free environment.
We therefore cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from traces of allergens.
Ordering with an allergy
If you have a food allergy or intolerance, please let us know before placing your order.
We are happy to discuss the ingredients used in a particular product and provide the allergen information we have available.
Please don't rely on information from a previous order, as recipes, ingredients and suppliers can change.
